Job summary

Asset Living seeks a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site. You will supervise staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and financial activities while ensuring compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

As the on-site leader, you will develop annual budgets, monitor rent collections, and implement resident retention programs, delivering excellent customer service and safety standards across the property.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four years’ housing industry experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with on-site software; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations of the housing community as on-site leader.
• Screen, hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff according to company directives.
• Monitor leasing, maintenance, budgets, and vendor invoices; ensure compliance with policies.
• Lead emergency response and maintain resident satisfaction through effective communication.
