Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee all operations of a housing community on-site under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, and administration to ensure policy compliance and risk management.

As on-site leader, you will develop yearly operating budgets, monitor rent collections, coordinate vendor invoices, and lead staffing, training, and resident relations to drive performance and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations of a housing community under the supervision of the Regional Manager.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance, financial, administration & risk management.
• Supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts and monitor finances.
• Monitor rent collections and vendor invoices; ensure timely reporting.
• Head emergency team for the property and respond to incidents per guidelines.
• Plan marketing, resident retention programs, and leasing strategies.
• Ensure excellent customer service and resident satisfaction.
