Job summary

Valiant Residential is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment community operations and implement company policies. This role ensures a well-maintained property, compliant leasing, and strong resident relations in a fast-paced environment.

You will lead staff, manage budgets, maintain records, and coordinate maintenance while driving occupancy and renewals with a focus on compliance and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Fair Housing certification before interaction with prospects or residents.
• Proficient in MS Office and community software.
• CAM certification or ARM preferred; college degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train staff per company directives.
• Support staff, promote teamwork, and manage HR processes timely.
• Determine transitions and promotions for on-site personnel.
• Maintain rent rolls, delinquency reports, and records.
• Prepare budgets and ensure rents, deposits, and collections.
• Oversee leasing, renewals, and occupancy targets.
• Coordinate maintenance and manage vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with laws and internal policies; supervise teams.
• Prepare property for inspections and report emergencies promptly.
