Job summary

Valiant Residential, LLC seeks a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment community operations and implement company policies for a well-managed property. The role requires leadership, budgeting, leasing, and ensuring regulatory compliance while fostering a collaborative, high-performing team.

You’ll oversee staff, manage budgets, and ensure residents receive excellent service in a safe, well-maintained environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Fair Housing certification required before interaction with prospects or residents.
• College degree preferred; CAM/ARM credentials preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and community software applications.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel using company directives.
• Provide staff support to encourage teamwork and maintain a harmonious environment.
• Maintain accurate records: rent rolls, delinquency reports, move-ins/move-outs, accounts payable.
• Prepare annual budgets and income projections; ensure rents and fees are collected.
• Oversee leasing practices and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
• Supervise leasing staff and handle evictions and collections as needed.
• Maintain resident files and ensure clean, safe, well-maintained community.
