Job summary

Valiant Residential, based in Texas, is seeking a Community Manager to supervise day-to-day apartment operations and enforce company policies. You will lead leasing, budgeting, and staff development while ensuring regulatory compliance and high resident satisfaction.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in property management, strong English communication, and CAM/ARM credentials. The role requires availability for evenings/weekends and a commitment to a 24/7 on-call culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of property management experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication in English; bilingual Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local housing laws and Fair Housing.
• Proficient with budgeting, leasing, and essential office software.

Responsibilities

• Screen, hire, orient, and train new personnel per company directives.
• Support staff to foster teamwork; handle performance evaluations and payroll processes.
• Determine promotions for on-site personnel and manage records.
• Prepare annual budgets and income projections; ensure rent collection.
• Review invoices, code payments, and make daily bank deposits.
• Ensure leases are prepared, signed, and compliant with laws; pursue renewals.
