Job summary

Hamilton Point Property Management seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support property operations. The role includes rent collection, delinquency management, evictions, and pre-close/closeout accounting processes.

Responsibilities include maintaining accounts receivable, posting rent, daily bank deposits, and generating rental/financial reports. The position also involves lease management, training staff, and resident relations while supporting the Community Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Ability to use a personal computer with email, Word, Excel, and Entrata (or other on-site accounting software).
• Ability to operate office equipment and multi-task in a busy environment.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills; professional verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Assist Community Manager with rent collection and posting.
• Maintain AR including posting rent, daily bank deposits, and rent roll accuracy.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly financial and leasing reports and month-end close processes.
• Audit lease records and resident files for accuracy and action dates.
• Process evictions and notices; assist with move-ins/outs and renewals.
• Lease apartments as needed and handle marketing efforts.
• Manage resident relations and organize property events as needed.
• Train staff on leasing, traffic entry, marketing, and maintenance.
