Job summary

The Community Builders, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee leasing, compliance, and resident services under the direction of the Community Manager.

This role emphasizes operations, certifications, and achieving 97% occupancy, with five days in office. Strong COS/LIHTC preferred.

Candidates should have a college degree or 3+ years in property management, plus experience with Yardi and Microsoft Office; competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• College degree or 3+ years in Residential Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail Management.
• 2+ years of experience in Property Management, Hotel, Hospitality or Retail.
• Knowledge of regulatory programs, policies and Federal Housing Laws and Guidelines.
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Yardi or other industry software experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily site operations and communicate with the Community Manager and staff.
• Monitor leasing, retention and re-certifications to meet occupancy goals.
• Prepare re-certifications, leasing applications, verifications and reports.
• Screen applicants for Tenant Selection Plan compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate resident ledgers and post rents and deposits.
• Oversee office functions and inspect property and units as needed.
• Support recruitment, training and performance reviews.
