YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is seeking a Community Concierge to greet visitors, answer inquiries, and support operations at our community hub. You will engage with members, manage transactions, and help create a welcoming, safe environment.

The role requires strong communication, flexibility in hours, and a customer-focused mindset. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly preferred to serve diverse members and contribute to an inclusive experience.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• Earned high school degree or GED.
• Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and/or holidays, as needed.
• Top-notch verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engaged.
• Answer phone and email inquiries.
• Actively manage customer transactions.
• Support facility operations by partnering with local Community Hub leadership to ensure spaces are clean at all times.
• Anticipate individuals' needs to provide an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order new stock as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
