Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is seeking a Community Concierge to warmly welcome members, answer inquiries via phone and email, and assist with membership transactions. You will help keep the hub areas tidy and running smoothly, conduct tours for prospective members, and support a responsive, inclusive environment at our Naperville location.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with a HS diploma, possess strong communication skills, and are open to flexible hours including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with a high school diploma or GED.
• Flexible hours, including weekends and/or holidays, as needed.
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Willingness to complete YMCA trainings and certifications within the given timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Greet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engaged.
• Answer phones and email inquiries.
• Manage customer transactions and assist with memberships.
• Support facility operations and keep front desk area clean and organized.
• Conduct hub tours for prospective customers and promote memberships.
