Job summary

The YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago is seeking a Community Concierge to warmly greet members, handle inquiries by phone and email, and process customer transactions. You will support daily facility operations with leadership to ensure spaces are clean and welcoming while anticipating guests' needs to deliver an exceptional experience.

Strong communication skills, flexibility to work various shifts including weekends/holidays, and bilingual English/Spanish ability are highly valued for this role.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED completed.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication.
• Bilingual English/Spanish highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet community members and guests and make them feel welcome and engaged.
• Answer phone and email inquiries.
• Actively manage customer transactions.
• Support facility operations with Hub leadership to keep spaces clean.
• Anticipate needs to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and order stock as needed.
