Capital One Café Ambassador in Detroit, MI is a face of Capital One’s mission to change banking for good. You’ll be a high-end service specialist, guiding guests through digital banking in a vibrant community hub, not a traditional teller.

The role focuses on connection, not quotas, with events and partnerships that expand financial health. You’ll engage customers, explain Capital One products, and help guests master mobile tools while staying adaptable in a dynamic, on-the-move café

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of Retail, Sales, or Customer Service experience.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years banking experience preferred.
• 2+ years of Retail or Customer-facing experience preferred.
• Proficient in G‑Suite.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be a Natural Connector in a high-energy environment.
• Serve as a Brand Advocate focusing on guest experience, not transactions.
• Guide customers through digital banking tools and troubleshooting.
• Support local events to promote financial health and community partnerships.
• Advocate for customers, resolve issues, and de-escalate when needed while complying with regulations.
• Foster an inclusive, welcoming environment and adapt to change.
• Move throughout the Café to engage with the community and support guest flow.
