Job summary

Dinges Fire Company is seeking an experienced Fire Service sales professional to plan and carry out all sales activities on assigned accounts or areas. You will develop relationships with Fire and EMT decision-makers and ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality products and service delivery.

In this role, you will prepare proposals, present to clients, negotiate terms, and follow up on sales activities to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of fire service equipment
• Knowledge of basic computer applications
• Knowledge of customer service principles
• Knowledge of basic business principles

Responsibilities

• Prepare sales action plans and strategies
• Schedule sales activity
• Make sales calls to new and existing customers
• Develop and make presentations of company products and services to current and potential clients
• Negotiate with clients
• Develop sales proposals
• Respond to sales inquiries and concerns by phone, electronically or in person
• Ensure customer service satisfaction and good client relationships
• Follow up on sales activity
• Monitor and report on sales activities and follow up for management
• Participate in sales events and training
