Job summary

Rush Truck Centers in Orlando is seeking a Service Advisor to sell and schedule required service work for commercial trucks and equipment. You will work in the dealership service department, coordinating with customers and technicians to ensure timely, accurate repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least one year service experience or equivalent.
• Manufacturer training as applicable.
• Valid CDL license required.
• Driving record acceptable for insurability.

Responsibilities

• Gather customer complaint details and expectations.
• Perform walk-around inspection and verify vehicle information.
• Connect to J-Pro and diagnose on-site; print report and reference service history.
• Advise customers on vehicle care and manufacturer specifications.
• Create and manage repair orders with customer signatures.
• Track progress, explain costs, and obtain approval for changes.
