Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell our Security services and technology within an assigned territory. You will rely on relationships and close new business while ensuring customer retention across Johnson Controls Security offerings.

You will act as the brand steward, communicating the Johnson Controls Security story, while maintaining strong knowledge of our product lines and services to meet customer needs and upsell where appropriate.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills with the ability to present to senior level executives.
• Must have no less than three years selling Commercial Security Systems.
• Ability to work a full-time schedule.
• Available for local travel.
• Valid Driver’s License Preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a successful commercial sales representative in the security, IT or other technology sales industry, demonstrated by the consistent ability to meet and exceed quota.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security services and technology within an assigned territory.
• Develop relationships and close new business while ensuring customer retention.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of product lines and customer needs and issues.
• Renew existing customer agreements and identify new opportunities.
• Identify prospects and generate market share; maintain relationships with existing customers.
