Job summary

Johnson Controls Security in Shelton, CT, seeks a Commercial Sales Executive to promote and sell security services and technology within an assigned territory, building relationships and closing new business while ensuring customer retention.

You will serve as the Johnson Controls Security brand steward, showcasing capabilities and expanding accounts through add-ons, renewals and upsells, with local travel and a proven quota-driven track record.

Qualifications

• Excellent oral, written and presentation skills; able to present to senior level executives.
• Full-time schedule required.
• Local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell Johnson Controls Security products and services within an assigned territory.
• Develop relationships and close new business while driving customer retention.
• Act as brand steward, clearly communicating Johnson Controls Security capabilities.
• Identify upsell opportunities and renew existing customer agreements.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge and industry trends to generate referrals and opportunities.
