Job summary

First Financial Bank seeks a loan servicing professional to manage a commercial loan portfolio, typically 30–80 loans ranging from $25K to $35MM. You will collect financial statements, assess collateral and risks, and maintain active communication with Sales, Underwriting and Legal teams.

You will monitor monthly performance for compliance, contribute to audits, and support covenant reviews with Underwriting. Strong analytical and MS Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Requires 2-5 years in servicing, insurance, CPA, RIA, franchise, legal or banking-related fields.
• Proficient in mathematical concepts for practical applications.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and techniques.
• Satisfactory interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and loan administration software.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of commercial loans (30–80 loans, $25K–$35MM).
• Collect and analyze financial statements and tax returns to support collateral and risk assessment.
• Maintain ongoing communication with Sales, Underwriting and Legal on loan status.
• Analyze loan collateral and related contracts, including loan documents and financials.
• Monthly portfolio performance review for compliance with loan models and guidelines; assist with audits.
• Review UCC filings to ensure collateral is protected.
• Monitor and manage loan portfolios with borrowers; address covenant requirements with Underwriting.
• Assist with funding processes and post-closing requirements; support Month End reconciliation.
• Develop proficiency using BRIDGE, First Navigator and MS Office tools.
