Job summary

Verterra Development is seeking a Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist in Richland, Oklahoma. You will process loan transactions and maintain commercial loan systems to support daily service levels.

You will post loan advances, generate payoff letters, handle escrow disbursements, and create reports while collaborating with commercial loan officers to ensure accuracy and exceptional client service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of applicable experience in a related banking or financial role is preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in high-volume, deadline-driven work.
• Proficient in Excel and able to manage spreadsheets, reports, and data entry with efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Process loan transactions and perform system maintenance for commercial loans.
• Assist the team and manage the commercial servicing queue to meet daily SLAs.
• Post loan advances and produce payoff letters; handle escrow disbursements.
• Create and monitor multiple reports; ensure payments are posted accurately.

Job description

The Commercial Loan Servicing Specialist will process loan transactions and perform system maintenance for commercial loans. This position will assist the team and work the commercial servicing queue to ensure daily service level agreements are maintained. Duties include but are not limited to, posting and performing loan advances, producing payoff letters, completing escrow disbursements, creating and monitoring several reports, ensuring payments are posted accurately, and working closely with commercial loan officers to ensure exceptional service is delivered to customers.

• Efficient organizational and time management skills
• Effective interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Proficient in Excel, good PC skills including spreadsheets, databases, and word processing
• Must be adaptable and have ability to adjust priorities to changing circumstances in fast-paced atmosphere.
• 1-3 years applicable experience in a related banking or financial role that is highly detailed and audit-oriented preferred, but not required.
• Must have strong attention to detail
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and working with high volumes and deadlines
• Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated aptitude for math and accounting
