Job summary

First Fed, a local community bank, seeks a Loan Servicing professional to organize, coordinate, and guide daily servicing of commercial, consumer, and mortgage loans. You will mentor staff, ensure accuracy in boardings, post payments, and oversee disclosures in collaboration with the Loan Servicing Manager.

You will support growth by maintaining customer relationships, driving efficient processes, and upholding our standards for quality control and service.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or certified equivalency, 3+ years of loan servicing experience, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• Advanced understanding of a wide range of loan products including consumer, mortgage, commercial, SBA and participation loans.
• Experience with loan servicing tasks including investor reporting, escrow processing, and insurance tracking.
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills with a focus on internal and external customers.
• Ability to direct work of others, including delegating, coaching, and motivating staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day activities in Loan Servicing.
• Process complex loan boardings, QC reviews, file maintenance requests and payoffs within SLAs.
• Process customer account requests including posting payments, payoff quotes, tax and insurance payments, and releasing collateral.
• Balance the GL daily and monthly.
• Develop advanced user skills for Cleartouch and related lending interfaces.
• Direct workload assignments to reports, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Provide support to Loan Servicing Manager and assist in training.
