Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Systems Account Manager to join our Commercial HVAC team. You will build long-term relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, and building owners to deliver total solutions for energy-efficient buildings.

You will drive take-off, pricing, and selling strategies, while providing HVAC system guidance and coordinating cross-functional teams to meet customer needs and business goals.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or four+ years of demonstrated experience.
• At least 2+ years in solution sales within commercial HVAC or mechanical engineering.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean record for the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for project take-off, selection, proposal pricing and selling strategy, and integration of equipment, controls, and services.
• Provide knowledge and consultation in developing HVAC system solutions including financial and performance-based considerations.
• Consistently ascertain customer needs and current market opportunities; coordinate acquisition team as needed.
• Convert leads into opportunities by assigning the appropriate sales process and communicating next steps.
• Develop and execute an account-specific business plan to identify long-term mutual support requirements for a strong partnership.
• Assist customers in answering technical questions on HVAC systems, Trane products, and industry issues.
• Ability to plan your day and visit customers.
