Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking a Controls Account Manager to join its best-in-class Commercial HVAC team. You will build long-term relationships with consulting engineers, contractors and building owners, delivering a total solution for energy efficient buildings.

You will develop and execute account plans, identify opportunities, and coordinate the acquisition team to win projects. A background in HVAC controls and solution selling is preferred to drive customer value.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of demonstrated experience or a Bachelor of Science degree.
• 2+ years of solution sales experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge and consultation in HVAC controls solutions, including financial and performance-based considerations.
• Identify customer needs and market opportunities.
• Assemble and coordinate acquisition team for customers and projects.
• Convert leads into opportunities by defining the sales process and next steps.
• Develop and execute an account plan to build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
• Assist customers with technical questions on HVAC systems, Trane products, and controls installation and maintenance.
• Plan and schedule visits to customers.
