Job summary

VML, part of WPP, is seeking an Associate Director, Commerce Operations to join our Amazon squad. You will sit between our Retail Services Lead (who drives high-level portfolio strategy) and our Commerce Managers (who execute day-to-day tactical operations).

This is a unique hybrid role that blends strategic planning with hands-on operational optimization, including promotion strategy, catalog improvements, retail readiness, and supply chain efficiencies, with you guiding client partners to

Qualifications

5–8 years of experience managing Amazon Vendor Central (1P) and Seller Central (3P) accounts.
Ability to interpret data and translate performance trends into recommendations.
Deep knowledge of Amazon inventory templates, category templates, and variation relationships.
Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Concatenate, Text-to-Columns).

Responsibilities

Provide day-to-day strategic and commercial advisory on promotions, content, catalog, availability, and retail execution.
Analyze Amazon performance data and translate into actionable next steps.
Collaborate with commerce managers to resolve operational issues and optimize catalog.
Guide best practices for catalog setup and PDP optimization.
