VML, part of WPP, seeks an Associate Director, Commerce Operations to join our Amazon squad. You will sit between the Retail Services Lead and Commerce Managers, translating client performance into actionable recommendations and guiding growth priorities.

This unique hybrid role blends strategic planning with hands-on troubleshooting, focusing on promotion strategy, catalog optimization, and supply chain efficiencies. 5–8 years of enterprise Amazon experience and strong Excel skills are ideal.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of enterprise Amazon Vendor Central and Seller Central management experience.
• Strong commercial judgement to translate data into client-ready recommendations.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon templates, variation relationships, and catalog-related workflows.
• Proficiency in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, text-to-columns) and data visualization.
• Ability to turn raw data into executive-ready stories and presentations.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for Amazon commerce operations.
• Advise on promotions, content, catalog, availability, and retail execution.
• Guide catalog setup, PDP optimization, A+ content, and variation structures.
• Conduct operational audits and analyze in-stock, PO rejection, and SKU profitability.
• Collaborate with commerce managers to resolve catalog issues and escalations.
• Interpret performance data and provide actionable recommendations to clients.
