Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions is seeking an Associate Director, Commerce Operations for our Amazon squad. The role sits between the Retail Services Lead and Commerce Managers, blending strategic planning with hands-on operational troubleshooting.

You will translate client performance into actionable recommendations, guide growth priorities on Amazon, and advise on promotion strategy, catalog optimization, and supply chain efficiencies.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience managing enterprise Amazon Vendor Central (1P) and Seller Central (3P).
• Strong commercial judgment connecting Amazon execution to business outcomes.
• Deep knowledge of Amazon inventory templates, category templates and variation relationships.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
• Ability to turn raw data into executive-ready presentations highlighting opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day strategic support, translating client performance into actionable recommendations.
• Advise on promotions, content, catalog, availability, and retail execution to drive growth.
• Guide best practices for catalog setup, PDP optimization, A+ content, imagery, and variations.
• Conduct holistic audits of marketplace operations and report on performance metrics.
• Collaborate with commerce managers to resolve operational issues and escalations.
• Analyze and interpret Amazon performance data to recommend next steps.
• Link core retail metrics to client business goals and growth opportunities.
