Job summary

The Boyd Group in Northport, AL is seeking an Automotive Estimator to prepare accurate damage appraisals and coordinate repairs. You will document interactions, communicate with customers and insurers, and support DRP compliance while ensuring excellent service.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of experience, basic computer skills, and I-CAR training. This full-time role offers a competitive commission-based compensation and growth opportunities within the shop team.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s.
• Minimum of 1-year experience.
• I-CAR Training.

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction with pertinent details and update records.
• Provide accurate, timely information to customers and insurers through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance program requirements and DRP processes.
• Communicate customer requests to the right team members and follow up.
• Assist in daily production walks and participate in safety meetings as required.
