Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Springfield, VA is seeking an Estimator to create accurate vehicle damage estimates and coordinate repairs with customers, insurance companies, and internal teams. You will document all interactions, communicate progress, and ensure exceptional customer service throughout the repair journey.

The role requires knowledge of repairs, OE guidelines, and DRP compliance, with a minimum of 1 year experience and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of repairs and OE guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic computer skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s.
• Minimum of 1-year experience.
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction with pertinent details.
• Provide accurate and timely information to guide customers through the repair process and ensure excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
• Follow WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs, repair planning, and delivery.
• Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members.
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and on the phone.
• Understand required Insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team and assist as needed.
• Support all team members when required.
• Attend Health & Safety and staff meetings as required.
• Attend training and workshops as recommended by Store Manager.
