Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to provide exceptional customer experiences by creating accurate vehicle damage estimates and coordinating repair needs. You will communicate with customers and insurers throughout the repair process to ensure alignment with the shop's KPIs.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of DRP experience, knowledge of OE guidelines, and are willing to complete I-CAR training. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Compliance for DRP’s minimum 1-year experience.
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Ensure every customer interaction is documented, updated efficiently and accurately with pertinent details.
• Provide customer with accurate and timely information, guiding them through the repair process and ensuring excellent service.
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements, processes and metrics.
• Ensure compliance with WOW Operating Ways regarding customer drop-offs, repair planning, customer communication, and delivery.
• Communicate all customer requests and needs to appropriate team members.
• Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone.
• Understand all required Insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team, as required.
• Support all team members when required.
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings (if required).
• Attend training, information sessions and workshops recommended by Store Manager.
