Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the United States is seeking an Estimator to provide exceptional customer experience while preparing estimates and coordinating repair needs. This role communicates with customers and insurance companies to ensure accurate damage appraisal and timely updates throughout the repair process.

The Estimator works with the team to achieve KPIs, participates in daily production walks, and adheres to all DRP and insurance requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Awareness of where to look for answers.
• Basic Computer Skills.
• Compliance for DRP's Minimum of 1-year experience.
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Document and update every customer interaction with detailed information.
• Provide accurate, timely information to guide customers through the repair process.
• Ensure compliance with insurance client requirements and processes.
• Follow WOW Operating Ways for customer drop-offs, repair planning, and communication.
• Communicate customer requests to the team.
• Greet customers with positive energy in person and over the phone.
• Understand required Insurance programs and procedures.
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team and attend meetings as needed.
