Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator to deliver an exceptional customer experience while creating estimates and coordinating repair needs for customers and insurance companies throughout the repair process. The Estimator accurately assesses vehicle damage and documents needed repairs and parts replacement in the damage appraisal.

The Estimator plays a pivotal role in ensuring a smooth customer journey and aligning with the team to achieve KPIs and high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s
• Minimum of 1-year experience
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction with pertinent details
• Provide accurate and timely information, guiding customers through repair
• Ensure compliance with all insurance client requirements and processes
• Follow WOW Operating Way for customer drop-offs, repair planning, and communication
• Communicate all customer requests to appropriate team members
• Provide positive energy when greeting customers in person and on the phone
• Understand Insurance programs and procedures
• Participate in daily production walks with the Management Team
• Support all team members when required
• Attend monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings
• Attend training and workshops recommended by Store Manager
• Maintain the store's KPI’s by maximizing role performance
• Uphold the company's Core Values: Honesty, Integrity & Respect
