Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking an Estimator to provide an exceptional customer experience by accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing estimates, and coordinating repairs with customers, insurance companies, and the shop team throughout the repair process.

The role requires at least 1 year of DRP experience, knowledge of OE guidelines, a High School Diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, a valid driver's license, and willingness to complete I-CAR training;

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Repairs and OE Guidelines
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Awareness of where to look for answers
• Basic Computer Skills
• Compliance for DRP’s
• Minimum of 1-year experience
• Must be willing to complete I-CAR Training
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Document every customer interaction with pertinent details.
• Provide accurate and timely information guiding customers through the repair process.
• Communicate customer requests to appropriate team members and insurance companies.
• Participate in daily production walks and team meetings.
• Maintain the shop’s KPIs by performing responsibilities with accuracy.
