Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Alpharetta, GA is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn with our Estimator team how to diagnose and prepare estimates for repairs according to insurance guidelines. You will gather damage details, photos, and notes while coordinating with the repair team to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

As an Apprentice you will handle damage mapping, upload documents, and communicate with customers and insurance adjusters to support a high close rate and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Prior customer service experience.
• Must currently possess or successfully complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4-6 years related work experience. Photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and identify opportunities.
• Prepare estimates using Repair Planning Template and verify during teardown.
• Notify production and manage queue to ensure timely completion.
