Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare estimates for repair in line with insurer and company guidelines. You will communicate value and support a high close rate.

The role requires strong communication, computer literacy, and the ability to interact with customers and insurance personnel. A growth-oriented environment and robust benefits accompany the position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must complete 16 I-CAR units within the first 12 months.
• Preferred 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software helpful.

Responsibilities

• Greet customer and build rapport at repair drop-off.
• Map damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Upload photos and notes to CCC One with arrival time.
• Finalize estimate using Repair Planning Template.
• Notify production and manage estimate during teardown.
• Assist insurance adjusters and claims re-inspection.
