Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare repair estimates in alignment with company guidelines. The role involves communicating with customers, supporting the production team, and helping achieve a high close rate on insurance claims.

The position requires a high school diploma/GED, prior customer service experience, and completing 16 I-CAR units within 12 months. Strong communication and computer skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist estimator in learning to diagnose and prepare repair estimates according to guidelines.
• Communicate value to customers and maintain high close sales ratio.
• Support production and collision repair teams to ensure accurate estimates and timely updates.
