Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in the Detroit area is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn our repair processes, diagnose and prepare accurate estimates for collision repairs, and provide excellent customer service.

You will collaborate with the team to map damages, capture photos, and use Repair Planning templates while coordinating with insurance partners to ensure smooth claims and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills required.
• Computer literacy preferred (Microsoft products).
• Good decision-making ability and sound judgment expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist estimator with damage assessment and documentation.
• Greet customers, build rapport, and communicate estimates and promised dates.
• Prepare final parts list and update customers regularly per standards.
