Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare estimates for repair according to insurer and company guidelines.

The role supports the Estimator, communicates value to customers, and maintains a high closed sales ratio. The position requires strong communication and PC skills, with a focus on accuracy and collaboration with the repair team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must currently possess or complete 16 I-CAR units within 12 months of employment.
• Preferred: 4–6 years related work experience; photo-imaging software experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at repair drop off and build rapport.
• Map damage with customer and identify WOW opportunities.
• Assist with repair mapping, photos, and notes in CCC One system.
• Verify and finalize estimates using Repair Planning Template.
• Coordinate with production and repair team to ensure accurate parts lists.
