Job summary

Gerber Collision & Glass in Panama City, FL is seeking an Estimator in Training to learn how to diagnose and prepare vehicle repair estimates under insurance guidelines. You will support the estimator, map damage, photograph progress, and communicate with customers to ensure accurate, timely estimates.

The role requires a high school diploma/GED, strong communication skills, and basic computer literacy. Prior customer service helps; 16 I-CAR units within 12 months are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; strong communication skills and basic computer literacy.
• 16 I-CAR units must be completed within 12 months of employment.
• Experience in customer service is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers at drop-off and build rapport.
• Map damage and take initial photos; upload notes to CCC One.
• Verify and finalize estimates with the repair team; provide accurate parts lists.
• Communicate with customers about estimates and promise dates; update as needed.
• Assist insurance adjusters and support re-inspection processes.
