Job summary

Foundation Finance Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency according to policy. This role handles more complex account questions from the customer service team and other representatives.

You will perform outbound calls on past due accounts, research delinquency, process over-the-phone payments, and offer relief options per policy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with at least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Experience in customer service or collections preferred.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Internet and email.
• Ability to handle phones professionally and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls on past-due accounts to resolve delinquency according to policy.
• Assess delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts and determine best resolution action.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions.
• Provide relief options to customers per company policies and practices.
• Relay information about interest, statements and other account questions with accuracy.
• Document notes in required systems per processes; adapt to changes.
