Job summary

Foundation Finance Company, LLC is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past-due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquencies per policy. You will handle more complex account questions referred by the customer service team.

This role requires strong communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to work evenings (two shifts per week) and one Saturday every five weeks. On-site position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma.
• Minimum 1 year experience in customer service or collections.
• Strong communication, verbal and written.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Internet email.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact.

Responsibilities

• Performs outbound calls on past-due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Research delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts to determine resolution actions.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit cards.
• Provide relief options per company policies.
• Explain interest, statements, and other account questions to customers.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy.
