Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I in the United States. The role focuses on assessing past due accounts and contacting customers to resolve delinquency according to policy.

You will handle complex questions referred by the customer service team and other representatives. The position involves outbound calls, processing over-the-phone payments, and providing options for customers facing hardships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1+ year experience in customer service or collections preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, and email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Able to handle stressful conversations with tact and diplomacy to yield the desired results.
• Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST and one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Performs outbound calls on past due customer accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Researches delinquent accounts to determine best resolution action.
• Process over the phone payments, including credit card transactions.
• Provide relief options to customers per policy.
• Explain interest, statements, and other account questions to customers.
• Assist with overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, and bankruptcy calls.
• Document notes per company procedures.
