Job summary

SERVPRO of Augusta is hiring a Collections Associate responsible for monitoring and analyzing customer accounts, developing strategies to mitigate past due balances, contacting customers to collect overdue payments, and negotiating plans. You would also work closely with other departments to ensure that policies and procedures are followed.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills are a must, as well as a strong understanding of credit/risk management.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of management or supervisory experience.
• 3+ years of high-volume collections experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze customer accounts and financial statements.
• Develop and implement collections strategies to mitigate risk.
• Contact customers to collect overdue payments and negotiate plans.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure policy adherence.
• Work with legal departments to resolve disputes when needed.
