Job summary

Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I to assess past due accounts, contact customers, and resolve delinquency in line with policy. You will handle more complex inquiries referred from the customer service team and other representatives, and perform outbound calls to resolve delinquency.

You will process over-the-phone payments, offer hardship relief options, and document all notes per procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in customer service or collections preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Word, Excel, Internet, and email.
• Professional phone presence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong typing skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess past due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquency according to policy.
• Handle more complex account questions referred from customer service and other representatives.
• Perform outbound calls on past due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Recognize and research delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts to determine resolution.
• Process over-the-phone payments, including credit card transactions, to achieve one-call resolutions.
• Provide relief options to customers in hardship per policy.
• Relay information to customers about interest, statements, and other account questions.
• Complete in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Document notes in required systems per company procedures.
• Adapt to changes productively.
• Shift schedule: Two evening shifts per week, 12pm-9pm CST and 10am-7pm CST, plus one Saturday shift every 5 weeks.
