Job summary

Truist is seeking a collections professional in the Richmond, VA area to collect delinquent accounts following established strategies and policies. You will deliver exceptional client service, maintaining transparency and integrity throughout interactions.

Responsibilities include negotiating payment plans, documenting all activities, and adhering to compliance standards while meeting performance targets and completing required trainings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education and related training or experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic Computer skills.
• Ability to perform in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedule, including overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Achieve performance expectations for collection efforts for assigned accounts based upon individual goals and objectives.
• Provide Clients cure plans and negotiate payment arrangements to cure delinquency.
• Disclose all relevant account information to Clients accurately and professionally.
• Manage client communications with professionalism and integrity, following compliance.
• Work accounts thoroughly according to established procedures and document efforts.
• Execute on established call scripts and achieve acceptable call monitoring scores.
• Communicate with Client Default Leaders about repossessions, loss, inquiries, or special handling.
• Accurately process payments, transactions, and workflows.
• Complete all CBT courses accurately and timely.
