Foundation Finance Company is seeking an Account Servicing Specialist I in Utah to assess past-due accounts and contact customers to resolve delinquencies according to policy. This role handles more complex account questions directed from the customer service team and other representatives.

You will process over-the-phone payments, provide hardship options, and document interactions in our systems. Strong communication and negotiation skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or collections is preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to handle stressful conversations with tact.

Responsibilities

• Outreach to past-due accounts to resolve delinquency.
• Investigate delinquent or potentially delinquent accounts to determine resolutions.
• Process credit card payments over the phone.
• Offer hardship relief options per policy.
• Explain interest, statements, and other account questions.
• Handle overflow calls including disputes, recovery, first pay, bankruptcy.
• Perform in-office and administrative tasks as needed.
• Identify unusual scenarios and ask clarifying questions with active listening.
• Document notes in required systems per procedures.
• Contribute to team by taking direction and working under deadlines.
