Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking a Shot Peen Technician for 1st shift, Mon-Fri. You will operate CNC shot peen equipment, follow precise instructions, and monitor surface treatments to ensure quality and fatigue-life improvements for turbine engine components.

Training is provided in a climate-controlled facility with opportunities for skill growth, hands-on practice, and advancement within the company’s aerospace MRO operations.

Qualifications

• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions.
• Experience reading and using basic measuring devices such as micrometers, calipers, or dial indicators.
• Familiar with standard shop math and able to perform measurements accurately.
• High school or technical education completed or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Set up and prepare CNC shot peen equipment by following work instructions and using predefined programs.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Inspect surfaces after processing to verify coverage and quality of treatments.
• Log processes and results in department records.
