Job summary

Component Repair Technologies is seeking a Shot Peen Technician to operate CNC shot peen equipment and apply surface treatments to turbine engine components. You will learn and perform steps under an extensive training program, growing your skills in a climate‑controlled, modern facility.

The role emphasizes following precise work instructions, using measuring tools, and maintaining careful logs while developing hands‑on expertise with aerospace components.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions.
• Experience with basic measuring devices (scales, micrometers, dial indicators, calipers).
• Familiarity with basic shop math.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare CNC shot peen equipment per work instructions.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Control coverage areas to be shot peened.
• Monitor CNC program for proper execution.
• Log all processes and results in the department log.
