Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Shot Peen Technician (2nd Shift, Mon-Fri) to operate and set up CNC shot peen equipment on turbine engine components.

You will follow precise instructions and maintain equipment, contributing to consistent surface finishes and process logs in a climate-controlled facility. The role offers on-site work in Mentor, OH with extensive in-house training, safety protocols, and opportunities for growth within the aerospace MRO sector.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to read, interpret and follow work instructions.
• Experience using basic measuring devices (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators).
• Familiarity with shop Math.

Responsibilities

• Set up and prepare CNC shot peen equipment by reading work instructions and selecting programs.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately from work instructions and documents.
• Control coverage areas to be shot peened and verify uniform surface treatment.
• Log all process results in the department job log and perform routine inspection and minor maintenance of shot peen equipment.
