Component Repair Technologies is seeking a Shot Peen Technician in Mentor, OH to apply skill in shot peening processes on turbine engine components. You will work with CNC shot peen equipment, read work instructions, and learn through our in-house training program.

As you gain experience, responsibilities expand, offering hands-on growth in a modern, climate-controlled facility and opportunities to work with experienced teammates in a growing aerospace MRO company.

Qualifikationen

• Two years minimum experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to understand step-by-step processes, with the ability to read, interpret, and follow work instructions.
• Experience using basic measuring devices such as scales, micrometers, dial indicators and calipers.
• Familiarity with shop math.

Aufgaben

• Follow established safety protocols and guidelines.
• Set-up and prepare CNC shot peen equipment by reading work instructions and selected programs.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Control coverage areas to be shot peened.
• Monitor CNC program for proper execution.
• Evaluate surfaces after operation to ensure uniform coverage and quality.
• Secure supplies, such as racks, tooling, baskets, and product.
• Perform routine inspection and minor maintenance on shot peen equipment.
• Use hand tools to clean, adjust and maintain equipment.
• Utilize overhead crane and lifting equipment.
• Log all process results in department job log.
