Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) is seeking a Shot Peen Technician to apply their skills in shot peen processes on turbine engine components. You will work with CNC shot peen equipment, follow detailed work instructions, and ensure proper coverage and surface quality.

A strong mechanical aptitude and ability to read instructions are essential. The role operates in a climate-controlled, modern facility with extensive in-house training.

Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Solid mechanical aptitude and ability to understand step-by-step processes, read, interpret, and follow instructions.
• Experience with basic measuring devices and shop math.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety protocols and company policies.
• Set up and prepare CNC shot peen equipment using programs.
• Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Control coverage areas to be shot peened and monitor CNC program execution.
• Evaluate surface coverage and ensure quality of surface treatments.
• Log all process data in department logs.
