Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to oversee and improve CNC machining processes for rifle and pistol components at its New Hampshire facilities.

You will design processes, fixtures, control plans, and tool life studies, and develop layouts and routings for equipment and workflows. You will provide day-to-day production support for high-volume CNC machining, assist in continuous improvement projects, and ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards are met

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering; 0–3 years experience.
• Strong analytical thinker with technical expertise.
• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machines.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; CAD/CAM data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Design new processes from start to finish including machine selection, fixtures, gages, tooling, control plans, work instructions, tool life studies, and heat treat studies.
