Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking an entry-level CNC Programmer I to develop and troubleshoot CNC programs for low to medium complexity components under mentorship. You will design processes, set up new programs, and support daily production and prototypes.

The role requires machining expertise, CAD/CAM familiarity, and a working knowledge of G&M Code and Fanuc Macro B. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 5 years minimum CNC machine setup experience.
• 1 year minimum CNC programming experience with CAD/CAM.
• Proficient in G&M Code and Fanuc Macro B.
• Ability to interpret GD&T drawings.
• Travel ability required.
• Team oriented with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design and create CNC manufacturing processes using CAD/CAM.
• Provide cycle time and tooling cost estimates to Engineering.
• Set up and prove-out new programs with guidance.
• Assist less experienced Programmers and Operators.
• Identify tooling and propose alternatives for efficiency.
• Create toolpaths and set cutting parameters.
• Develop detailed setup sheets and tool lists.
• Support manufacturability improvements and 5S standards.
• Follow safety and ISO procedures.
• Overtime or shift changes may be required.
