Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc invites applications for a Manufacturing Engineer II responsible for developing and improving machining and assembly processes at our firearm facilities, with emphasis on CNC machining, GD&T, and quality planning.

The role requires collaboration with engineering and production teams to deliver cost-effective solutions, manage tooling, and execute capital equipment runoffs; a Bachelor's in Mechanical/Manufacturing Eng and 3–6 years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
• 3-6 years of experience in manufacturing engineering.
• Knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5M.
• Proficiency in SOLIDWORKS, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Monday.com and data analysis tools.
• Clear written and verbal communication; ability to work independently and on a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing firearm product designs.
• Procure tooling and equipment to meet launch timelines and cost targets.
• Identify areas for improvement and perform cost savings analyses.
• Improve quality and throughput; ensure manufacturability with GD&T.
• Provide production floor support for CNC machining, assembly, and finishing.
